Wingate, July 7 -- Abigail Hixson, 87 years of age, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John L. Bienz, 3425 N Illinois Street, Indianapolis, Friday morning at 3 o'clock according to word received here last night. Mrs. Hixson had been in ailing health for several years and death came as the result of complications of old age. Mrs. Hixson was born in Wingate May 2, 1841, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Ocheltree. She was a member of the Christian Church here. She was married to Theodore Hixson Dec 4, 1869. She had resided here until the past few years. Deceased is survived by the one daughter, three brothers, W.S; William and Theodore Ocheltree all of Indianapolis. Her husband died about 30 years ago. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church here Monday morning at 10 o'clock in charge of Rev. O'Conner, interment in Wingate Cemetery. - kbz
